On April 9th, WildKind families are gathering together across the country to hike, ski, and more to show our support for our Ukrainian community members and the children in Ukraine who have been faced with unimaginable losses.
This event will be a family-friendly skin up Snodgrass in Crested Butte, CO and hosted by WildKind Community Manager, Amanda.
To attend, we are asking that you make a small donation that will be used to support Orphans Feature in Ternopil and the adoption center in Gorzów Wielkopolski, Poland.
WildKind Ambassador, Nataliya, is from Ukraine and still has immediate family in the country, with whom she is coordinating relief efforts as well as through the Ukrainians of Colorado organization. We have collaborated with Nataliya to designate these two beneficiaries of our donations to support children in Ukraine who have lost one, or both, parents in this war.
From Nataliya: "The adoption center in Gorzów Wielkopolski, Poland accepts refugees from Ukraine daily - mothers with children and also children from other orphanages who were evacuated from Ukraine. Some of these kids have partial legal guardianship, but most of them have no one. So, I kindly ask everyone to help us, and give them a chance to be kids, have fun and find joy in these hard times. "
