WildKind First Fridays, Denver

About this event

This month, join WildKind co-founder, Brooke Murray, for a family bike ride up Waterton Canyon! We'll plan for a leisurely paced pedal session (we'll likely have some little cruisers attending!).

Bring plenty of water, sunscreen, and some snacks. We'll plan to stop after an hour or so to have some snacks by the river before heading back to the parking lot. If we're lucky, we might see some big horned sheep, eagles, or some of the other wildlife that frequents the canyon!

Bring your own bikes/trailers, and everybody must have a properly fitting helmet! This is a gravel road so we'll just be riding our commuter bikes. Dogs are not invited to this event.

This is a free event for WildKind Members and is open to the public for $5. Registration is required through eventbrite.

WildKind Hikes for Ukraine - Seattle

On April 9th, WildKind families are gathering together across the country to hike, ski, and more to show our support for our Ukrainian community members and the children in Ukraine who have been faced with unimaginable losses.

This hike will be held at Bridle Trails State Park, on April 10th, hosted by WildKind Ambassador Emma. The trail options range from 1 mile to 3.5. After the hike, join Emma and her daughter for a picnic lunch! This is a family friendly trail and is open to the public.

To attend, we are asking that you make a small donation that will be used to support Orphans Feature in Ternopil and the adoption center in Gorzów Wielkopolski, Poland.

WildKind Ambassador, Nataliya, is from Ukraine and still has immediate family in the country, with whom she is coordinating relief efforts as well as through the Ukrainians of Colorado organization. We have collaborated with Nataliya to designate these two beneficiaries of our donations to support children in Ukraine who have lost one, or both, parents in this war.

From Nataliya: "The adoption center in Gorzów Wielkopolski, Poland accepts refugees from Ukraine daily - mothers with children and also children from other orphanages who were evacuated from Ukraine. Some of these kids have partial legal guardianship, but most of them have no one. So, I kindly ask everyone to help us, and give them a chance to be kids, have fun and find joy in these hard times. "
