Tyler Fontes
Tyler and Andy Fontes started hiking with their kids when they were four months old and haven't stopped since. Tyler and his family recently moved from Phoenix to Salt Lake City and love exploring all the amazing new trails around the city. They live the urban lifestyle next to Downtown, however they love exploring the great outdoors and try to get their twin three year old boys in nature whenever possible. Tyler is a full time stay at home Dad to Caellum and Emmerich and is always getting his kids outdoors. They love that their kids love exploring nature as much as they do! As a family they enjoy hiking, camping, kayaking, fishing, and biking around the neighborhood and around the downtown area. In the past three years, they have taken their boys hiking/camping at the Grand Canyon North Rim, Chiricahua National Monument, Zion National Park, Mammoth Mountain, McDowell Mountain Preserves and other National parks surrounding Phoenix. Caellum even took his first steps at their camp site in Zion National Park! Exploring and respecting nature is a family value Tyler and Andy love passing down to their kids.
Tyler gets out with his kids most days! If you want an idea of a toddler friendly hike in Salt Lake City, follow him on Instagram!
