Heather is a Colorado-based freelance writer, author, and speaker specializing in the outdoors, particularly as it applies to women and families. As an ardent believer in the power of fresh air and sunshine, she and her husband Will introduced their daughter to the wilderness at an early age (four months) with a three-night backcountry skiing hut trip. Since then, the family has fumbled their way through outdoor adventures near and far, (almost) always celebrating the journey rather than the destination. Heather is beyond psyched to help other families find their wild and cannot wait to meet you on the trail soon!
