We are excited to open our second-annual call for WildKind ambassadors! This year, we’re splitting our team into two categories, so be sure to read through program to determine which is best for you and your lifestyle. We’ll be accepting applications from April 1-15, and will notify all chosen ambassadors by the end of the month. We’re looking forward to hearing from everyone!

  • Community Leader

    If you enjoy meeting other families, leading trips, and supporting your community, this is the ambassador program for you. We are looking for Community Leaders in Colorado, Utah, and Northern California (Bay Area to Tahoe)!

    In particular, we’re looking for 5-7 ambassadors in Colorado, 1-2 in Utah, and 1-2 in Northern California.

    Your Commitment:

    Lead 1-2 WildKind events per calendar year. These events are often 1-2 night obligations and will often involve backpacking, camping, or skiing. Responsibilities include trip planning, communicating with participants beforehand, helping with logistics, and post-event wrap up. You will work closely with our Community Manager and other team members who may be supporting these events.

    A current Wilderness First Aid (WFA) certification is required prior to leading your first event.

    The Perks:

    All WildKind Community Leaders will receive the following:

    *If you don’t have a WFA, we will pay for this virtual certification course (or the equivalent cost towards an in-person or recertification course)

    *If you complete this online Wilderness First Responder (WFR) course, we will cover 50% of the course cost (or the equivalent cost towards an in-person or recertification course)

    *Entrance into a quarterly raffle hosted exclusively for ambassadors who guided trips during the three month period. The winning ambassador earns a $100 gift card to her choice online retailer

    *Included WildKind Summit membership, with all of its accompanying discounts. This also includes special pricing on Ikon Ski Passes.

    *A chance to be featured on our social channels and/or in our email newsletter

    *An opportunity to participate in an ambassador-only retreat

    *Participation in various brand collaborations as they arise

  • Digital Pro

    Perhaps you don’t live in Colorado, Utah, or California and you still want to be involved with WildKind? We see you! While the bulk of our membership is located in those three states, we know that families around the country are getting outside in very meaningful ways—and we want you to support our community via online resources!

    Your Commitment:

    Write 1-2 blog posts per year with content ideas created alongside our Community Manager

    or

    Submit 4 Instagram Reels per year, to be uniquely shared on the WildKind Instagram account. Note: These can not be repurposed from your own personal channels.
